As a history teacher with a fondness for exploring new cultures, staying at the Hotel Zum Golden Stern in Prüm was quite the experience. The central location made it ideal for accessing local sites, and I found the peaceful ambiance inviting, especially after a long day of travel. The spacious and newly refurbished apartments offered modern amenities like a flat-screen TV, free toiletries, and an electric kettle that made my stay convenient. The buffet breakfast each morning featured freshly cooked items, setting up a good foundation for my explorations. While the hotel has a classical charm, the noise from the nearby square can be noticeable. Closing the windows greatly minimizes it, and luckily, roller blinds add a touch of privacy and comfort. A secure parking option for motorcycles was an unexpected benefit, allowing me to explore without constantly worrying about my vehicle. For travelers who appreciate both value and a hint of luxury, this hotel strikes a nice balance. With its welcoming staff and amenities like a spa lounge, it serves not just as a place to rest but also enriches the travel experience.
